How do I make my wisteria branch out across a wall?


I have a very small terrace with limited sunlight. I planted a wisteria plant in the small strip of soil I have, which has sent out a shoot towards the sunny wall where I want the wisteria to completely take over. Unfortunately so far, it's just a single shoot and it's growing fast but not branching out at all. Some pictures here.I tried pruning it so it would split into two branches, but that didn't work. Any advice to make it branch out instead of just growing its one shoot upwards? The goal is to have it cover the wall.

Why are my poppy plants not forming bulbs? Shouldn't they have formed bulbs long ago? Please help

Why have my poppy plants yet to form a bulb? They are going on two months old. I see time lapse of poppy plants on youtube, in all cases having bulbs by now. The seeds came straight from a poppy pod by my own hands. What's going on with this? They appear otherwise healthy.... green and strong. If they have any pests on them I cannot tell besides a couple holes in a coulpe leaves. Nothing like a concerning infestation.Please help. I have been putting them in the sun for the majority of the day... at least 2/3rds of the day they are in the sun in Florida. Consequently, they are watered every other day at the least. It rains and this helps hydrate them just the same. I have fertilized them lightly by mixing some plant grown grains in the water I give them.Again, please help. Awesome sub btw I love y'all ~

Need advice - planting flower seeds in a high weed pressure garden plot.

Hi! I’m taking on a plot in a local community garden, to grow cut flowers, that has been vacant for a long time and is covered in weeds. The weed pressure is bonkers there. I’m hoping to get access to the plot very soon so that I can tarp the area but the reality is that I may not have enough time before my last frost to let it sit long enough. I will be using woven landscape fabric with holes burned in for each plant and will certainly weed around all my plugs. But, I’m worried about the seeds that I’m going to direct sow. My concern is that I will struggle to tell the difference between my germinating seed and the germinating weeds that will likely pop up in the fabric hole. My idea is to dig out a bit of the existing soil in each hole, refill with purchased garden soil and plant my seed in that to eliminate weed seed lurking directly around my planted seeds.
