Question for those who vegetable garden with a variety of wildlife... advice please.


I'm in Michigan, zone 6a and will be planting my first in ground vegetable garden. I will be contending with deer, turkey, racoons, opossum, squirrels and lots of birds.If I put up a deer fence around my garden, does it still need bird netting? Should there be a chicken wire hoop "roof" around the beds?I'm not sure what degree of protection I need.Advice? Suggestions?What works for you?Thanks.

Need help planning my garden

Hey all, I made a post a few days ago but due to language issues, I’m doing a new, proper one now.I need some help planning the restoration of old family property. Its a wild meadow now, it was once used for hay production, then for some 20 years horses lived there and then it was just unused and grew wild over the last 10 years.Now I want to restore a part of it as a garden. I have like 1000 ideas, but no real plan where to start.
