Should I get rid of bindweed ?

I have some bindweed in my garden that is climbing on some of my flowers : I have no issue with it because I think the flowers are pretty and are also good for pollinator, but I’m worried it can damage the plants it’s climbing onto (some of them are leaning due to the weight). What would you recommend ? Thanks !
